For example
before (36): "7bbc665e-b9ff-4c80-8664-08dc1113158b"
after (22): "Xma8e_-5gEyGZAjcERMViw"
Which is pretty much just a compressed GUID

Dark mode is now the default setting but this can be overridden to device theme or light mode. Why? Because it's better in every way.

In our most recent website update, we're excited to unveil the addition of nested comments.
We've opted for a sleek flat design that features a vertical trail of parent comments, deviating from the more conventional tree structure.
This design choice comes with several advantages over the traditional tree format:

* Simplified navigation: A flatter structure makes navigation less complex
* Vertical scanning: Users can easily scan downward instead of horizontally
* Reduced cognitive load: The page is visually lighter, enhancing the user experience
* Seamless vertical scrolling: Users can scroll smoothly through comments
* Improved hierarchy tracking: It's easier to keep track of your position in the comment hierarchy
* Avoidance of excessive indentation: The design prevents endless indentation, keeping discussions on screen
* Contextual presentation: Each comment brings its context along
* Independent comment sorting: Users can sort comments independently of the entire tree
* Detailed comments: The flat design allows for more detailed and on-topic comments
* Easy external linking: Effortlessly link to a specific comment using external URLs
* Mobile optimization: Flat design ensures a smooth and user-friendly commenting experience on mobile devices.

We used to have a dialog to preserve scroll position when navigating back in the browser but it has now been solved in a different way.

It's free real estate! (especially important on mobile)
